JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for working alongside the Business Analysts and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties related to the automation of business processes.
Job role entails software administration responsibilities.


Technical knowledge / Experience

Essential:

  • Significant interest in understanding and improving business processes/efficiency
  • Proven analytical and process mapping skills
  • Ability to design databases from ground up: Normalisation/Relationships
  • Ability and experience with building and administrating databases in SQL Server (SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2005)
  • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Ability to learn about and take responsibilities for new software


Desirable:

  • Experience in C#
  • Experience in ASP.NET


Super-Awesome Unbelievableness:

  • Experience using the Decisions Platform
  • Experience in HTML


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Business Analyst to deliver effective solutions which provide tangible business benefits
  • Identify key processes where BPM can be applied within corporate functions. This includes, but will not focus solely on, identifying areas that are not solved by our current software systems and where BPM can be an answer
  • Take ownership of allocated automation projects from start to end including taking each process through a rigorous QA process
  • Support Business Analyst on projects ensuring the correct documentation and reporting tools are used
  • Define allocated project scope and objectives
  • Create and maintain allocated project schedules by developing project plans and specifications
  • Technical administration of allocated software.
  • Providing data, analysis, and feedback on issues, trends, and actions.
  • Problem Management - Root cause analysis and putting in place solutions to problems to prevent further incidents.
  • Analysing system logs and identifying potential issues with allocated systems.
  • Performing routine audits of allocated software.
  • Input into one off projects such as database development.
  • Requirements gathering.
  • Analysis of both user and business needs.
  • Producing process plans to breakdown the project lifecycle.
  • Writing supporting documentation.
  • Identifying and implementing changes and improvements.
  • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
