Medieval Enders, a Pantomime for all!

Medieval Enders, a Pantomime for all!

The Tea Maidens have been kidnapped by the evil Sir Costa Nero Swear-a-Lot and need to be rescued by Rominbin Hood and his Tetley Tea man, Friar Tuck Shop!

The Independence Homes Pantomime, created and performed by adults with complex needs, was again a great success.

Now in its third year, the Pantomime helps build participants’ self-confidence and self-esteem.

For example, one person started off helping back stage, then moved onto doing the shadow puppets, and this year asked for a part and he took on a main part, which was fantastic.
One parent said: ‘Please will you pass on mine and Mark’s appreciation to Ricardo and the team.
The panto is obviously important to the participants. They clearly gain enjoyment, and no doubt a boost to confidence and their self- esteem.
Well done all’
