Surrey care awards

21st November 2017

Jackie Walker from Foxley has won the award for Frontline Leader of the Year at the 2017 Surrey Care Awards, for her exceptional care and leadership.

Jackie works tirelessly ensuring residents at Foxley Lane are not only comfortable and content but also achieving their potential while leading fun and fulfilled lives.  Both parents and colleagues felt that she deserved this significant recognition and the comments and stories supporting her nomination were incredibly moving.
Jackie’s commitment to delivering an outstanding standard of care while supporting others to bring about change proved to the awards’ Judges that she was the worthy winner.

The annual awards ceremony took place on Friday and celebrates exceptional contributions within the County’s care sector. It was both a fun and truly inspirational evening with many stories of courage and selfless dedication.
Independence Homes were finalists in two other categories: The Lifetime Achievement Award and Care Provider of the Year Award. This shows that the high standards, already identified by the CQC are also being recognised across the care industry as ‘Outstanding’.
